Jeans manufacturer Betty Smith and Melbo Men's Clothing, which sews Azabu Tailor, have collaborated to start selling custom-made denim suits. Approximately 20 types of denim that go well with denim suits will be selected from the denim used for custom-made jeans by Betty Smith, and will be manufactured at Melbo Men's Clothing's domestic factory (Hiroshima Prefecture).

Betty Smith supplies the denim, while Melbo Men's Clothing Industry handles sewing and sales. In response to customer demand for authentic denim suits, the two companies have combined their respective strengths in material variations and sewing techniques to create an unprecedented high-spec Okayama denim suit, available for purchase at prices starting from 70,000 yen (77,000 yen including tax). Women's suits will also be available.

Sales will begin at a direct order event held by Melbo Men's Clothing on Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 18. In the future, sales are planned at Betty Smith and other Melbo Group stores.
