Kurashiki City Career Education Promotion Project "Corporate Learning Rakusha Course"
PRESSKurashiki City Career Education Promotion Project "Corporate Learning Rakusha Course"
Every year, companies from Kurashiki visit the school and hold classes where students can learn about actual corporate work and working styles.
At Betty Smith, I have also given lectures on the history of jeans, the operation of the Jeans Museum & Village, and the manufacturing process of jeans.
Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to experience the actual jeans manufacturing process by making denim straps and watching a demonstration of denim rubbing, which had the students all smiles.
Kojima's jeans industry can be said to be a legacy of Kurashiki.
I hope that future jeans craftsmen will be born!
What is the "Corporate Learning Rakusha Course"?
This is a course where companies are sent directly to schools to give junior high school students a chance to hear about jobs and experience them, so that they can deepen their understanding of various occupations and imagine local employment in the future. This year, 41 companies will be visiting a total of 15 junior high schools and 5 high schools in the city to give lectures.
