Betty Smith's SDGs initiatives will be featured on television.

This time, we will be focusing on "Eco Betty," a denim accessory made from leftover fabric that was created as a result of a factory tour by elementary school students.

Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, was selected as a "SDGs Future City" in July 2020.

Introducing SDGs partner companies working to achieve sustainable urban development

 

▼Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, has been selected as an "SDG Future City" and is working towards achieving this goal together with the "Kurashiki City Takahashi River Basin SDG Partners," which promote the SDGs. There are currently 155 partner organizations. This time, we will introduce "Betty Smith," a jeans manufacturer that develops products using scrap wood, "Kurashiki Ivy Square," a complex tourist facility that offers SDG Future Lunches, "Noda Hatsu," an egg producer aiming for a new sixth-sector industrialization, and "Teori," a furniture manufacturer that focuses on the local specialty bamboo.
