Azabu Tailor, a pattern-order suit specialty store established in 1999 by Melbo Men's Wear Co., Ltd., which has been in business for over 100 years, and which currently operates 26 stores nationwide, and Betty Smith, a long-established jeans manufacturer, are teaming up to create an authentic denim suit project that utilizes the strengths of both companies. The project has started on the crowdfunding site Makuake.
